This year's show boosts the presence of international investors
The real estate sector gathers at Barcelona Meeting Point
From 29 October to 2 November the Montjuïc site is the venue for a new edition of Barcelona Meeting Point, a major real estate industry event. This year aims to attract more buyers in the main international markets.
Anyone looking to buy property can find a whole range on offer, along with promotions and special payment terms.
This year’s show is creating a new cluster: ‘Shop in Barcelona. Real Estate’ to foster contacts between Spanish estate agents and buyers in traditional markets such as France, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, Germany and Switzerland. According to the Spanish Association of Property Registrars, the purchase of property in Spain by foreign buyers increased by 36.6% in 2013.
There will once again be an opportunity to promote residential sales amongst Russian, Chinese and European investors, along with the Barcelona Funds Meeting attended the main international investment funds.
The event, organised by the Zona Franca Consortium, includes a new edition of its traditional International Symposium, which this year will analyse sovereign wealth funds, mainly in Asia and the Persian Gulf, amongst other topics.
