Euro Attraction Show draws more than 10,000 professionals from all over the world
The leading show in the amusement parks and attractions sector hits new records
Euro Attraction Show, the European amusement parks and attractions industry’s most important show, hosts the largest edition in the show’s history. From 18 to 22 September, the show brings together at Gran Via venue of Fira de Barcelona more than 500 companies that will be showcasing the latest innovations in the sector. Over 10,000 professional visitors from all over the world will be attending.
The show, organised by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), will be exhibiting, from 20 September, more than one hundred products and services associated with the leisure industry, including amusement and water park attractions, themed design and decoration, equipment for staging, shows and productions, ticketing management technology, food and beverage services and hotel and leisure complex development, amongst others.
The congress programme, which begins on 18 September, will include more than 20 sessions including presentations and seminars to discuss the main challenges and innovations in the sector, including topics such as the digitalisation of parks.
The European leisure industry accounts for an annual turnover of 10 billion euros and provides jobs for more than 50,000 people. It encompasses amusement parks, water parks, theme parks and attractions as well as museums, aquariums, zoos and other entertainment facilities. In Europe there are more than 300 amusement and theme parks which welcome 150 million visitors per year, according to a survey by the IAAPA.
