Fira de Barcelona once again co-organises the Qatar Motor Show
For the second year running, the fifth edition of the Qatar Motor Show, which will be held from 6 to 10 February in Doha, had the collaboration of Fira de Barcelona. The Barcelona-based institution joined the Qatar Tourism Authority and q.Media in organising the automotive industry’s most important trade show in the Middle East.
The event brings together the main international brands, who will present their latest models, from luxury and sports cars to mid-range vehicles. Visitors will be able to see, amongst others, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé Waterspeed and the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4. Last year the show received 150,000 visitors.
Around forty brands took part: Husqvarna, Harley Davidson, Mitsubishi, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Mini, Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Maserati, Land Rover, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Bentley, Renault, Infiniti, Lexus, Suzuki, Chevrolet, Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi, Honda, GAC, Toyota, Nissan, Nimrod, Ducati, Triumph, KTM, Vespa, BMW Motorrad, MV Agusta, Moto Guzzi, Sand X, Aprilia, Piaggio, Gilera and Arctic Cat.
Fira de Barcelona’s collaboration in the Qatar Motor Show is part of the institution’s international business strategy, which includes organising events in other countries as well as promoting the presence of Spanish companies abroad, providing services to other venues and consulting on facility management.
