This year's Swab event showcases artistic proposals from 22 countries
Emerging art in the Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc venue
Barcelona’s International Contemporary Art Fair, Swab, returns for 2015 with the best collections gathered from 65 emerging art galleries around the world. The show will take place at the Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc venue from 1 to 4 October.
An exhibition of more than one hundred works, which have been previously selected by an expert committee and include sculpture, painting, drawing, photography and video from contemporary artists representing 22 countries.
Highlights of this year’s event include the independent proposals that make up Swab Seed, the new space curated by David Armengol, in addition to the series dedicated to ‘performance’, created by Juan Canela.
The show, organized by the Barcelona contemporary art space, Diezy7, will again feature conferences, debates and round tables to discuss the changing world of contemporary art.
