Expohogar-BCNJoya includes training activities for the retail channel
BCNJoya expands its range and exhibits the latest in jewellery and watches
The next edition of BCNJoya, the trade fair for the areas of jewellery and watch making, will bring together the latest developments and trends of 140 exhibitors, 16% more than the 2018 edition, and will include the “BCNJoya Concept” area, with around 20 designers who will exhibit their designer jewellery, with unique designs that are adaptable to customer preferences.
BCNJoya, which will celebrate its fifth edition from 27th to 30th September 2019 in Hall 2 of the Montjuïc venue, will feature the latest articles in high-end and designer commercial jewellery, watches, silverware, machinery and related products, presented by 140 exhibitors, around 20 more than in 2018. BCNJoya has registered sustained growth throughout its history, with five times the number of companies present in its first edition, held in 2015, consolidating its status as one of the most important exhibitions of its sector to be held in Spain.
According to the director of Expohogar-BCNJoya, Josep Alcaraz, “We continue our commitment to jewellery and watch making, which is becoming more and more popular every year among manufacturers, distributors, importers, entrepreneurs and designers, who see the event as an unbeatable opportunity to showcase their products, to enliven their business and to see the innovations that are driving the sector”.
Firms such as Antonelli; Joyas Perelli; Liska Joyas; Marea or Lineargent have already confirmed their presence at the event, as well as the designers Joan Datzira, Santi Capó and Elisenda de Haro, who will with others, form part of the BCNJoya Concept space, dedicated to hand crafted and signature jewellery.
Expohogar-BCNJoya is getting ready for the Christmas campaign
The trade fair, which has changed its name to Expohogar-BCNJoya to include in its name what until now was one of its sectors, will once again become a solid commercial platform made up of 250 companies that will exhibit top-quality products, especially related to the Christmas season, a period that concentrates the highest sales volume of the year.
Foimpex, Signes Grimalt, Hoff-Interieur, Imori and Bolas de Olor are just some of the brands that have already confirmed their presence at Expohogar-BCNJoya, which is confirmed as the benchmark meeting place in Southern Europe for small and medium businesses in the sectors: Gifts; Decoration and interior design; Fashion jewellery and accessories; Textiles and home; Handicrafts; Stationery; Leather goods and travel; floral decoration, terrace and garden decoration; Personal care; Toy and childcare articles and Souvenirs.
Special Expert Event, important details for the retail channel
Expohogar-BCNJoya will host Special Expert Event (SEE), the space that brings together some 15 activities in workshops and talks by recognised experts on topics such as commercial interior design, on-line and off line sales strategies, as well as demonstrations of gift wrapping and floral art.
The 10 speakers who will participate in the SEE include the window dresser specialised in integral solutions for retail, Emma Capellera; the architect expert in visual design, Cristina Carvajal; the specialist in visual merchandising and creator of a new more ethical and sustainable retail, Lisardo Mendo; the expert in strategic marketing, Mónica Casal; and the artist of reference in the sector of presentation and creation with paper, origami and wrappers, Origlam, as well as the masters of floral art of the Floral School of Catalonia and the Rosa Valls School, who will carry out floral demonstrations and gift packaging.
Expohogar-BCNJoya, an industry event organised by Fira de Barcelona every two years, will open from 10 AM to 7.30 PM, except on the last day, when it will close at 6 PM. The event welcomes a total of 11,000 professionals each year from Catalonia, Valencia, the Balearic Islands, the Basque Country, Aragon, Andorra and Southern France.
