BBFW 2025 brings together the present and future of bridal fashion on an iconic catwalk

Once again, Barcelona will become the epicenter of bridal fashion with the opening of the Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW) 2025 runway, bringing together more than 44 national and international brands. Renowned designers and emerging talents will gather at this event to present their collections for the 2026 season. Creativity, innovation, and Mediterranean artistry will take center stage in an edition that will set the trends for the bridal and eveningwear industry.

Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, organized by Fira de Barcelona with the support of the Departament d’Empresa i Treball de la Generalitat de Catalunya, reaffirms its status as a leading platform, bringing together some of the most prominent names on the national and international scene, representing 18 countries.

Albasarí Caro, director of the event, emphasizes the significance of this edition: “This year, the runway will shine brighter than ever, with new creations from established brands and other up-and-coming names who will surprise with innovative and original proposals, setting the creative course for next season’s fashion.” She adds: “Brands choose the BBFW runway to showcase their artistry to the world, and the world looks to Barcelona to glimpse the future and take part in a true celebration of global fashion”.

The BBFW 2025 catwalk will feature a strong Spanish presence with top names such as Yolancris, renowned for its exquisite, handcrafted designs blending traditional techniques with a modern, bohemian style; Marco & María, celebrated for their meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail; and Basque label Sophie et Voilà, which promises a particularly special show. Lastly, Isabel Sanchis from Valencia, whose sophisticated and timeless eveningwear designs are present in over 40 countries, will also grace the catwalk.

Some Catalan firms will also have their big moment on the runway with the clear goal of showcasing and boostiong this promising group. Thus, Marta Martí, Mariano Moreno, Andrea Lalanza, Immaclé, and Lorena Panea, among other brands, will be part of ‘The Edit Barcelona’.

Also, the Canary Islands will present designers Ogadenia Couture, Pedro Palmas (Gran Canaria), and Oswaldo Machín, By Loleiro, and Amarca (Tenerife), once again showcasing the rich creative talent of the archipelago.

Finally, the group ‘The Edit’, which will include the brands Raquel López, Claudio Di Mari, Helena, and Serravalle, will walk the runway, reaffirming the diversity that characterizes the event.

Vivienne Westwood, Ines Di Santo and international fashion
One of the most eagerly awaited moments of BBFW 2025 will be the runway debut of Vivienne Westwood, the legendary British label, which will unveil its bridal proposal for 2026 during the Bridal Night gala at the Universitat de Barcelona. It’s the first fashion show in the world that the brand devotes exclusively to its bridal line.

Meanwhile, Canadian designer Ines Di Santo, a regular at the event’s tradeshow will join the Montjuïc runway for the first time. Her brand is synonymous with luxury and sophistication in the fashion world, highly esteemed by both celebrities and brides around the globe. Additionally, this year’s runway will mark the grand return of Cymbeline (France), making its comeback in Barcelona after renewing its focus on sustainability and innovation.

Other major international names taking to the BBFW 2025 runway include The Atelier by Prof. Jimmy Choo (Malaysia), Joli Poli (Vietnam), Agnieszka Swiatly (Poland), Serina (Japan), Marylise, Rembo Styling & Carta Branca (Belgium), Katy Corso (Ukraine), Woná Concept & Eva Lendel (Ukraine), Sima Couture (USA), Demetrios (Italy), Morilee New York (USA), Allure (USA), Julia Kontogruni (Bulgaria), and the “Global Bridal House” representing Modeca, GBS Herve Paris, Libelle Bridal, and Randy Fenoli Bridal, among others.

On the other hand, the UK-based Italian designer Veni Infantino of the Morilee Group will debut with her exclusive creations, while Ukrainian Yuliia Lobachóva Couture and her brand Ricca Sposa will join the list of first-timers with their sophisticated proposals. Another important debut will be that of the Chinese firm Wang Feng, a couturier who has been leading one of the most eclectic brands and a reference in Asia since 1982. His designs are an affirmation of a modern and confident woman, as well as elegant and refined.

New runway and Fashion Village
As a major innovation, the BBFW runway will occupy Hall 8 of the Montjuïc exhibition center, creating a larger area with a groundbreaking design inspired by the Mediterranean sky and sea, which will also house the backstage, village, and a lounge dedicated to designers and their guests. Halls 1, 2, and Plaça de l’Univers will host the trade exhibition.

Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week will gather the entire bridal fashion ecosystem at its upcoming edition at the Montjuïc venue, where collections from bridal, eveningwear, and accessories brands will be presented.

From April 23 to 26, BBFW will host the runway shows, while from April 25 to 27, the trade show will feature over 450 brands, 82% of which are international, representing 32 countries. The event will become the hub for networking and business for professionals, buyers, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders in the global bridal sector.
