Piscina Barcelona seeks key buyers from 27 countries for its business meetings

Piscina Barcelona 2025 has launched two buyer programs that will allow exhibitors at the Spanish trade fair –scheduled for November 17-20– to connect with national and international clients with specific purchasing or investment projects. Through this initiative, the event will select and invite over a thousand key professionals from 27 countries, including Spain, with a special focus on strategic markets in Europe, North America and the Caribbean, the Middle East, and Africa.

The first of these, the Hosted Buyers Program, is designed to ensure the presence of top international buyers interested in acquiring products and services or making investments within the pool, wellness, and outdoor sectors. The identification and search for candidates is carried out in collaboration with ACCIÓ – the Agency for Business Competitiveness of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, the Spanish Contract Association (UNEX), and the international delegations of Fira de Barcelona.

Invited professionals will have a personalized meeting schedule with exhibitors and other travel-related benefits. Preferably, priority will be given to buyers from specific geographic areas with high demand potential in the pool, wellness, and outdoor sectors, related to the growth of the tourism, hospitality, and residential sectors.

Specifically, the focus will be on 16 European countries (Germany, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Slovenia, France, Greece, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia). In addition, five preferred markets have been identified in North America and the Caribbean (Mexico, Miami, Panama, the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic) and four more in the Middle East (United Arab Emirates, Israel, and Iran), along with Morocco and Ivory Coast in Africa.

Focus also on the national market

In parallel, Piscina Barcelona is also launching the VIP Buyers Program, aimed at key Spanish buyers, mainly from Catalonia, Madrid, the Valencian Community, Andalusia, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, and Galicia.

The professional profiles to be invited include builders, distributors, installers, and maintenance companies, sports facilities and water parks, as well as architects, interior designers, decorators, and contract channel managers. Additionally, this program targets hotel directors, camping site owners, wellness, spa, and fitness center managers, who play a crucial role in adopting innovative solutions within their respective fields.

Recommend Program

To attract these strategic profiles, Piscina Barcelona also leverages the involvement and commitment of participating companies through the “Recommend Program.” In this way, exhibitors can confidentially suggest and share their regular or potential clients’ contacts, allowing the organization to invite them to participate in the Hosted Buyers and VIP Buyers programs.

With this proposal, exhibitors can maximize their business opportunities during the fair, ensuring visits to their stands by buyers from different markets or sectors, with whom they can hold personalized business meetings.

IBC, the Business Center

To enhance the visiting experience for both international Hosted Buyers and national VIP Buyers attending the trade fair, Piscina Barcelona is launching the International Business Centre (IBC) as a meeting point for this invited group and as a business center with specific services and its own activity schedule.

In this sense, at the IBC, buyers will be able to receive personalized advice on the most suitable suppliers for their projects, manage their interview agendas with exhibitors with the help of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, attend market conferences, and view success stories, or participate in networking activities, among other offerings.

This space will also host commercial missions and institutional receptions from different countries, as well as sessions of the VII Business Meeting for Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East, a day on trends, and project presentations with associated business meetings. It will also serve as the venue for the Pool Horizons Summit, a space for reflection on the role of pools in society with inspiring case studies, as well as recognition for the “Best in Class” awards for the best pools with a positive impact on health, wellness, and the community.

Piscina Barcelona 2025

Held every two years, Piscina Barcelona is the most international European trade fair for the pool, wellness, and outdoor sectors. Organized by Fira de Barcelona in collaboration with the Spanish sector association ASOFAP, it is preparing its next edition, which will take place from November 17 to 20, 2025, at the Gran Via venue in Barcelona (Spain). The event is expected to occupy more than 40,000 square meters, gathering 400 exhibitors from 30 countries, including leading global brands, and 14,000 professional visitors, 60% of whom will be international.
