Ibtm World, a world showcase for business tourism
The world’s most important trade fair for the business, congress and incentive travel industry, Ibtm World, will be held from 19th to 21st November at the Gran Via venue. Nearly 3,000 exhibitors from 150 countries will exhibit the latest developments in the sector in an edition that will reflect the increase in companies from the Asia-Pacific region and a new programme for corporate event organisers.
For three days, Ibtm World, which has been held at Fira de Barcelona since 2004, will bring together destinations, travel agencies, tour operators, congress centres, hotel chains and organisers of international events.
Ibtm World, which expects to attract 15,000 visitors, organises more than 70,000 business meetings, develops networking activities and has an extensive congress programme, in which it will analyse the latest trends in the industry and the importance of innovation, creativity, technology and sustainability. In addition, it presents the Elite Corporate Programme, with specific sessions for corporate event organisers.
In the 32nd edition of Ibtm World, China increases its net exhibition area by 450% compared with the previous edition. Several Asia-Pacific countries such as Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines have reinforced their presence at the trade show and position themselves as new and innovative destinations.
