Ensenyament will encourage pupils' entrepreneurial spirit

From March 12th to 16th, the Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc exhibition centre will feature education options for primary, secondary and higher education students. Consisting of Salón Ensenyament, focused on secondary school and university studies, and Futura, dedicated to masters and postgraduate courses, the event will ratify its function as a source of information and guidance aimed at those looking for the best education options.
This year, the Saló de l’Ensenyament is celebrating its 25th anniversary, highlighting its role as an effective guidance and advice tool for students and their families with regard to their academic and professional future. This year, for the first time, the Education Department will be putting on an exhibition on the skills acquired by vocational training students, as well as entrepreneurship projects undertaken in various educational centres. The aim is to encourage students’ entrepreneurial spirit through a specific module Empresa e Iniciativa
Emprendedora/Business and Entrepreneurial Initiative (EIE).
The Masters and Postgraduate Show, Futura, will be held on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th march. It will feature public and private universities, business schools, continuous training centres and professional as that will inform visitors about secondary and further education programmes taught in Spain and abroad.
Part of the Education Week will be the 11th International Simulated Company Fair, organised by Fundación Inform, will offer students taught according to the SEFED method (Simulación de Empresas con Finalidades Educativas/Simulation of Companies with Educational Goals) the opportunity to put the skills they have learnt into practice, applying the same methods and tools as a real company.
