Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc was the setting for the most eagerly awaited and special night of Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week 2022 — Viktor&Rolf. Fashion artists Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren unveiled the world’s first Viktor&Rolf Mariage fashion show during Bridal Night, the gala evening of the world’s leading bridal fashion event.
The presentation encompassed 37 designs, including a retrospective anthology of iconic creations from the Viktor&Rolf Mariage collections, Haute Couture gowns and the debut of the Spring/Summer 2023 Mariage collection. Rooted within elements of classic Haute Couture, the Spring/Summer 2023 collection merges sculptural structures with romantic detailing. Such as handmade silk organza floral embellishments that elegantly draped around fitted bodices.
Viktor&Rolf Mariage is an extension of the designers’ modern and glamorous approach to fashion. Wedding dresses are a common thread running through the fashion artists’ collections, as Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren say, “we have always been fascinated by the wedding dress because it is a small universe in itself. It is an icon of the most wonderful moments in life”.
For the designers “Barcelona is the Paris of bridal fashion, and it has been a pleasure for us to present our first Mariage runway show here.”
Bridal fashion week kicks off

Today they will continue until next Saturday, with 34 firms on the catwalk and more than 320 brands in the trade fair, 75% international from 27 countries, which will open its doors between 22 and 24 April to show the bridal, groom, cocktail and party dress collections on Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc venue.
